Saw knives: About the technology

Specially coated saw knives complete the product range group. Various high-tech processes and shapes are used for coating, which are adapted to the respective load and the corresponding wear behavior of the saw blades. For example, laser additive welding and thermal spraying are used as coating processes.

Depending on the purpose of use and the harvesting machine, different surfaces are advantageous. The saw blade assortment group is offered exclusively powder coated. The surface sealings ensure the best possible preservation or protection of the saw blade surfaces. Longer storage times of our high-quality saw blades are possible without any loss of quality.

We consistently rely on the use of the highest quality heat-treatable steels. We use wear-resistant chrome steels as the base material for our saw blades. These modern, tough steel materials have proven themselves for years and show maximum load bearing capacities, abrasion resistances and product lifes.

The saw blades are induction hardened depending on the machine type and application. This it what makes these knives essential high-performance cutting tools, which are required for shredding.
